The expression levels of miRNA were determined by Quantitative real-time PCR (qRT-PCR) and those of protein were by Western blot analysis. Luciferase activity assay was used to verify the target genes of miRNAs. TUNEL staining was used to detect apoptotic cell death. Caspase-3 and -7 activation status was measured using the Caspase-Glo 3/7 Assay . A TSCC xenograft mouse model was used to test the role of miR-483-5p .
