In the present study, the relationship between miR-126-5p/3p expression levels and overall survival in 109 patients with acute myeloid leukemia (AML) who received intensive therapy were evaluated. The expression levels of miRNA were determined by Real-time quantitative reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction (RT-PCR) and those of protein were by Western blot analysis. MTT assay was used to test the drug-resistant phenotype changes in cancer cells via overregulation of miRNAs.
